Jose, former bassist-singer in the high-energy band FIRECRACKERS launched his new project in spring 2010; along with members of MODERN FOLKS & DUSTER'71.
"Seven Cevennes Cicadas", the first acoustic and folk/americana oriented E.P. has been released in september 2010, followed by a much more electric and classic-rock E.P. in februrary 2011 : "Six City Songs".
Records give a good place to featurings, such as Nat, singer in LAFAYETTE, NADJ, Jeff Nolan (former I LOVE YOU, SCREAMING TREES ...), Lord Von Zipstor & Dude (former SLEAY KIDS), LULL, Doug Pinnick (KING'S X) ......
These first records allowed the band to play more than 50 gigs (acoustic or electric ones) all over France & Canada for its first year of existence. The band could then build a real strength and unity.
The second year has been based on the preparation of this first double album, the building and recording of the last songs, the making of the videos, and all promo tools to make a nice release ... DIY forever ...
Jose has been influenced by deep Country-Blues, but also by the most violent Heavy-Metal, not forgetting his Grunge teenage love, or the classic-rock & 60s pop from his childhood (The Beatles, CCR, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin ….).
Jose wants to carry on releasing records that will be really different from one to another. Not only artistically speaking, but also in terms of production. The unity is kept by the quest of the perfect tone for the matching song.
A true organic tone always led by the atmosphere, and songs that must remain pop without going to the easy option.
The first (double !) album "Twice Upon A Time" will be released exactly two years after the band's first rehearsal.
Who said rockers are lazy ?
